In Damascus and its countryside, the Syrians are suffering loss of the most basics of life, living under bombardment and blockade.
Due to crisis in Syria, people have endured displacement, homelessness, and loss of livelihood. However, burden of living has increased as a result of hosting displaced relatives and friends from the affected areas.
Ghiras Al-Nahda has been working since then in order to save the vulnerable by all means. One of the Foundation's programs is the relief program that includes shelter, clothing, firewood and fuel, household items, mattresses, blankets, health baskets and in cash support. In addition, Ghiras is carrying out productive projects such as sewing workshops and biogas projects so that non-food items of the conflict victims could be covered and that would provide job opportunities for displaced who have become unemployed as well.
